Mixbookers from all over the world traveled to the “Come Together” company retreat in Mexico
In March 2023, Mixbookers from all over the world traveled to Mexico for our first “Come Together” company retreat. For many, this was the first time meeting their colleagues face-to-face, having worked together in a remote-first setting. The retreat served as a refreshing escape from our day-to-day routines, allowing us to engage personally with our teammates, build trust, and deepen connections.
Kim Colucci, our Culture & Growth Director, captured the essence of this experience: “Our retreat marked a pivotal moment for Mixbook, igniting pivotal discussions around conflict, collaboration, and ownership — a catalyst igniting our culture’s evolution and shaping our future.” Whether it was enjoying tasty meals together, brainstorming innovative ideas, kicking up dust on ATV’s, or exploring the picturesque Mayan ruins, Mexico’s vibrant atmosphere served as the perfect backdrop to lasting memories and make meaningful connections that will impact us for years to come.

Since our retreat, we’ve dedicated our weekly All Hands Meetings to the spirit of Come Together. With activities ranging from a virtual escape room and an Ask Me Anything session with our executives, to a book club-style discussion on building stronger teams, we’re keeping the retreat’s momentum alive, embracing new ways to come together as a cohesive Mixbook team.
